On June 16th, IDAC went to Aarhus, Denmark in order to attend the first Fablearn Europe conference. We were represented by Olof, Peter, Eva and Magnus, and we took part in hosting four workshops, and present one demo and one paper. The workshops were on the topics “Digital Fabrication and Learning in Public Knowledge Institutions“, “Participatory Design in Digital Fabrication” and (on request) two times “Hackerklubben and Technology Crafts“. The demo was about Hackerklubben and technology crafts as well, and the paper is titled: “Digital Fabrication by IDAC – Aims, Steps and Transferable Principles” (see full paper here: http://fablearn.eu/wp-content/uploads/fablearn14_submission_261.pdf)

So many interesting discussions on how to integrate digital fabrication in schools!!!
